Pink It Up, October Sx4 Box

Hi Everyone! I've been waiting for Tonya/Pychomoms to receive her box to post this project...the dang USPS was as slow as molasses! They had me stressing because it took from 11/12 until today, 11/28 to deliver. And from the 16th until today the delivery confirmation # said it went through a sorting facility in WA then no update until it was out for delivery today! It was going to Florida for pete's sake! Needless to say I am no longer using parcel post to send packages...sheesh! :)

Sx4 October cigar box swap was themed Pink It Up and the box should contain survival things. I made it a scrappy survival box :) We also had to include a quote journal which I took a Tim Holtz District Market journal, added some Prima bling and a Prima flower to the font then stamped some quotes and images every 5-10 pages. Check out my video of how I created the box by clicking here.

Check out Tonya opening the box with my on the phone by clicking here. The swap was hosted by the ever so lovely Jade at jadedstudios.

October Remember When Projects: Webster's Pages & October Afternoon

So October was a big month of projects for Remember When design team! I previously shared a Graphic45 project and a make & take. Here I will share with you a white ribbon challenge which is a challenge for the whole team using the same product and a double page 12x12 layout to go into one of the swag bags at RW's 3 day Anniversary Crop.

The white ribbon challenge had us taking Webster's Pages Western Romance and creating a layout no smaller than 6x6 and a card/tag/gift item. The entire team was presented with the challenge. I kind of struggled with it because there was lots of love stuff and well...I don't do love a the moment, lol! Here is what I came up with...

The final project was to do a two page layout using only what was given to us in our kit, any die cuts and punches in the die cut center at Remember When and anything in the Remember When class tool kit which includes a glitter pen, glossy accents, crackle accents and brown or black distress inks along with the normal tools you would need to complete a project such as scissors, glue etc.

This did present a challenge to me because I LOVE to use trims, bling, flowers and embellish die cuts! The other challenge was that I didn't get any cardstock, it was all pattern paper with a die cut sheet and some alpha stickers! The paper line was October Afternoon Daydream. And yet another challenge, colors I am not used to working with. Check out what I came up with.

Click here to see the video on how I created both projects. Thanks for watching! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am certainly thankful for a lot of things including you my readers and YT viewers!

Remember When October Projects: Graphic45 & Flower Soft Make & Take

So October was my first month for design team projects for Remember When my local scrapbook store! It was fun and challenging! In this post there are video links and pictures of two of the four projects I had in October!

Project #1: Graphic45, An ABC Primer - I had to do a layout and a tag/card/gift item using 75% Graphic45. No problem! :) I have to say this is the first G45 paper line that didn't drive me batty with all the patterned/busy paper. I think G45 paper lines are gorgeous but I get stuck! :) Check out the pics below!

Project #2: A make and take using flower soft as the technique. I created a tag using Tim Holtz stamps, inks, die cuts and embossing folder. Flower soft was adhered using a quickie glue pen, sookwang score tape and Aileen's tacky glue. Check out the pics below.

Click here to watch the video of how I created each project! Stay tuned for the second part of RW October Projects!

Got Tim? Travelogue

Hello Everyone - long time no post, I know! Been super busy trying to get projects done! Over the next week I'll be posting a lot! :)

Today's entry is my two page entry in Lydia, YT: little1yds1), Got Tim? Travelogue. Her travelogue was themed Tim Holtz...right up my alley, right!?!?! :) It was sooo much fun creating these two pages! Lydia wanted nothing but Tim and so she got it on my page... I used die cuts, paper, inks, embellies, tissue paper all by Tim!
