News and Updates

Hi Everyone - It's only Tuesday and I'm exhausted! This past weekend I went to a scrapbook retreat in Palm Springs! It was sooooo much fun despite the fact I had help clean up a mess at work while in Palm Springs! I got several projects done and had soooo much fun! The retreat was booked through PS Let's Scrap (PS stands for Palm Springs). There was 10 of us crazies scrapping away in a beautiful house with a beautiful backyard! Click here to see the video posted to my YT channel. The cost was $475 it included three meals on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday. There were deserts and snacks galore! I'll post the projects I did there in the next few days, I have to video them and get them posted to YT. Below are some pictures of the place we stayed at. We had a house with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

So I have some exciting news...I am an official Design Team member for my LSS Remember When and for KARLAS001! I'm so excited and honored that these two crafty/scrappy stores want me to be on their design teams! I'll have to beef up my creativeness because I am certainly amongst some talented women on both teams! Look for projects created for both stores!

I have the next three days off from work...5 day weekend, WOOHOO! I need to get focused and finish up the remaining September projects and move on to October...it is going to get busy with lots of posts!

Thanks for reading and I'll be posting at you soon! <3 TVG

Printery Gift Box

Hey Everyone! I am three days away from going on a scrappy retreat in Palm Springs! 3 full days of crafting with 9 other awesome ladies! I can't wait, I have so many projects I need to start and finish! Other exciting news is that I am now on my LSS Remember When's design team! I am super excited about and can't wait to share with you all the assignments I get! Until then check out the latest project I worked on...

I created a gift box using the Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Bag, CaddyPrima's Printery paper stack, Prima's Gold Tassle Trim, rose trim (which I say Maya Road on my video but that's not right) and mini black flower pearl trim - white mulberry flowers which I stained with Tim Holtz distress stain, Antique Lenin - black pearl sprays from KARLAS001. I used three different Tim Holtz distress crackle paints; Peeled Paint, Walnut Stain and Rock Candy. And finally I distressed the paper with Tim Holtz distress ink, black soot.

The gift boxes are for the girls I'm going to the scrappy retreat with, I filled them with KARLAS001 goodies! Check out the below pictures and my video by clicking here.
