Madame Boutique & VintageT - Remember When Update

Hi Everyone - So this past Saturday I turned in my January Remember When DT project and picked up my February package!

For January I was given the KaiserCraft Madame Boutique line to create with. I had a lot of fun creating with this line, it is so right up my alley! I found some pictures that were from the 1970s that I thought would go perfectly with this paper line! I had fun using the Sizzix suitcase die, some gorgeous Prima trim, Maya Road trim, crackle paint and glossy accents.

Sizzix suitcase die, Maya Road trim, Tim Holtz rosette

Flower is the Sizzix layered flower #7
Blue flower is from a Prima trim...it's GORGEOUS!

I did a lot of fuzzy cutting and tearing of paper.
Used a Tim Holtz ornate plate and covered the numbers with glossy accents. do you see the Prima trim? GORGEOUS!
This is a picture of my parents wedding with some of my cousins, grandmother and aunts.
The wood piece is a KaiserCraft embellishment. I used crackle paint, rock candy on the flower and on photo mat.
Oh...almost forgot, I did a make & take at RW this month but didn't get to film any of it, I however did take pictures of it! The product I had to feature was Tim Holtz tissue tape. I came up with a tag and then switched at the last minute to a little mini album using Tim Holtz paper.
This was my initial creation for the make & take. Used theTim Holtz mini sewing room dress form die,  rosette die, one of his phrase stamps and created a flower out of the tissue tape. The distress inks are the limited edition winter colors. For a tutorial on how to make the tissue tape flower click here. To see where I learned to collage tissue paper then die cut it, click here. And finally to see where I got the idea of using tissue tape on the rosette flower AND no my fav way of assembling rosettes, click here.
This is the actual make & take I went with, it was a huge success because it was something different from a tag. It is a cute little mini made from one 12x12 page and a paper rosette. To see where I got the idea for this mini, mini album, click here.

For February, I received the WeRMemorieKeepers VintageT line...very 80s/90s feel to the line. I am thinking I'm going to do some of my Junior High/High School pictures with this layout! That should be fun and a blast to the past! :)

Check out the video below for some more details on the projects I did for January and my February DT package!

Until next time...happy crafting!
