And the blogging begins...

Welcome to "Inside the life of an "evil"scrapper..."! Here is where I'll share my thoughts, opinions and ramblings on all that is me. The blog is based around scrapbooking and crafting but don't be surprised if a post shows up on a subject that does not have anything to do with scrapbooking. I hope that those who become readers of my blog will engage with me on scrapbooking, crafting and anything else I may post. This is a place for my thoughts, to express what is on my mind, to share my creativity, I am more than happy to have debates and hear others opinions even if it is opposite of me but let's respect each other's opinions and not get rude or mean.

A little about me...I am a native SoCal girl who who left home in 1993 and lived in Reno, NV for a few months before moving to Cheyenne, WY for a little more than a few months to moving to Adana, Turkey for two years to moving to Great Falls, MT for 9 months until I found my way back home to Los Angeles in 1997. While living in Cheyenne, WY I fell in love with Colorado and would consider retiring there. Besides scrapbooking/crafting I love the sport of hockey. I have auto renewal with DirecTV for NHL Center Ice so that I can watch my team the Colorado Avalanche! I own three jerseys and can talk hockey with the best of them. I'm usually pretty foul mouthed while watching games, especially during playoffs. Let's see what else? I am surrounded by my wonderful loving family (Nicole & Shirley in the slide show below are my cousins) and great friends. Music is always on and lately I'd rather have music on than the TV, so the DVRs are filling up. I seem to be more productive at night.

Professionally I am a production manager at a btob media company that publishes magazines and produces tradeshows in the medical, pharmaceutical, powder/bulk, electronics, nutritional industries. Come November of this year I will have been working for the same company for 12 years. I am a hard worker and do not shy away from whatever challenges are brought to me. I recently transitioned from print to digital media and manage the newsletter team which deploys about 100 newsletters a week. My heart is still with print although my day to day has moved to the digital world.

I took an extra day off for the 4th of July weekend. I hope to get many scrappy projects done! I have a Graphics 45 Curtain Call album for a birthday gift to finish, need to start and finish a design for a Artsy Addicts Butterfly Tag Swap, need to start and finish a design for A Lil Scrap of Heaven flower swap and create some projects for KARLAS001 etsy store since I am the July guest designer.

I am going to start the weekend off by finishing the Stars & Strips class kit (designed by my cousin Nicole, store manager of my LSS Remember When) to get the creative juices flowing. I can't wait to show you pics here and a YT video of the finished book because it is just adorable!

If you aren't already a evilscrapper subscriber on YT please go over to, I am at 431 subscribers and have a 3 giveaways when I reach 500. I'll be posting another video about it this weekend. I am a social networking geek...Facebook, Twitter, 4Square, GetGlue, YouTube and now a blog! :)

Ok, so there was a little bit about me...time to start blogging! :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend. Happy scrapping or whatever you have planned this weekend.
